Review commodity contracts, expiries and quantities before practising MCX-style paper trades.

Understand the idea.

Futures contracts identify an underlying and an expiry. Crude oil and crude oil mini are not interchangeable: names, lot sizes and contract specifications matter. A futures order may represent a larger notional value than its quoted price suggests. In BOOSTRO, the instrument metadata determines valid quantity and the multiplier used for virtual settlement. A demo cash model is not a substitute for real futures margin, daily settlement or exchange rules. Practise selecting contracts carefully and verify the amount committed before entering. Read a losing trade alongside its quantity: a small price move can have a large effect when the position is large.
